When the famed New Age label Narada comes down to earth, it does so with a measure of class. Take this collection of a dozen contemporary Cuban dance numbers by four acts. As sophisticated and clean as you'd expect from bands that make their truest marks in live club settings, the stars of Cuban Nights offer some unstoppably infectious jams. Highlights include Maraca's "Maraca's Tumbao"--flawed only in its not-long-enough playing time of four minutes--and Bamboleo's "Opening." The latter pushes forward with a stylishness that recalls the best of Chic while never sounding like that classic disco group. --Rickey Wright
