Web Designer

The Web Designer will create page layouts, images, text, and graphics for all eWorld Records department Web sites. The Web Designer must be able to work with upper management in order to understand and realize the corporate vision for new designs. Since the Web Designer will be responsible for developing navigational structures as well as creative design for page layouts, a knowledge of User Interface design concepts is essential. The successful candidate will need to identify color and graphic schemes consistent with international cultures and current Web design trends.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or associate's degree in graphic design, or equivalent experience; 1-2 years applicable experience; proficiency in HTML; proficiency in PhotoShop, and Illustrator or Freehand; some experience with JavaScript, Flash, and DHTML a plus; proven skills in visual image creation, manipulation, and Web optimization; requires good design skills, an eye for detail, and technical savvy; must be enthusiastic about international communities and issues. Director of Sales

Description: This position is a leadership role that focuses on sales to accounts with large potential sales revenue. The Director of Sales must be a self-starter who feels comfortable working in a high energy, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will immediately be able to cover all aspects of sales negotations from initiating contacts and following through on contact leads to negotiating contracts, closing deals and advertising. The Director of Sales will also eventually be responsible for building and managing a successful sales team.

Responsibilities:

- Primary goal to attract public attention of offered goods
- Aggressively identify, engage, and close large revenue accounts
- Will evenutally build a successful sales team by hiring, mentoring, and developing a cohesive sales team
- Surpass account and industry penetration goals
- Direct sales forecasting activites toward performance goals as required
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs both present and future
- Implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
- Develop account implementation satisfaction plans for integration of
projects/contracts

Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (Masters Degree in Business or Computer Science granted special consideration)
- Minimum 5-7 years sales management with a background in IT application, e-business integration consulting, or the software industry
- Proven record of surpassing revenue growth targets
- Thorough understanding of consultative sales, emerging technologies, IT market, and competitors

Web Developer

eWorld Records, Inc. currently has an opening for a Web Developer. This position requires a self-starter who is also a team player. While there is a set of fixed skills required for this position, the Web Developer also needs to be flexible and a quick learner. Essential skills for the Web Developer position include Unix/Linux, PERL/CGI, SQL, and HTML. The successful candidate will possess some or all of the following additional skills: NT, ASP, Oracle, PHP, MySQL, Flash, Java/Javascript, and Web design/graphics.

Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years experience working in a development environment, preferably Web based.

eWorld Records has fantastic opportunities for college students and recent graduates to gain some practical experience in the areas of Web Development, Marketing, Editing, and Content Management. By helping eWorld Records expand you can gain a foothold in the e-commerce industry.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have completed at least three years of undergraduate education at the college level in their chosen internship field; proficiency in HTML; some experience with JavaScript, CGI-scripting, and CSS a plus. This position is part time.
