Anyone who has heard the first and second ISHAN albums knows how unique and energetic they are. The music composed by Iman and Rakhshan Foroutan combined with the words of the lyrical genius Siamack Bahreini gives ISHAN the extra kick that always puts them one step ahead of the rest. ISHAN now has truly outdone themselves on their third album, called Rangi Deegar (The Other Color), which will be released within the next few months. This dynamic team of two highly educated brothers has one more time created an album with a distinctive character containing eight songs, each more pleasing than the next. I have been fortunate enough to hear the music during the making of this album and I can tell ISHAN fans all around the globe that they are in for something magnificent.
About the Artist
ISHAN consists of a dynamic team of two highly educated brothers. Iman Foroutan is a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Rakhshan Foroutan has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA. The name ISHAN is made up of the first character of Iman's first name and the last four of Rakhshan's. ISHAN translates to "THEM" in the Farsi language. Iman and Rakhshan collaboratively write all the music for ISHAN. A good friend of ISHAN's, Siamack Bahreini has written most of the words for all 3 ISHAN albums.
