  
Ata Khoraam was the first conductor and founder of Iran's Jazz Ensemble. He has composed more than 450 memorable songs, many of which are part of the repertories of well-known Iranian singers. His compositions have been performed by orchestras in the U.S., Englad and Israel. Mr. Khorram is also a renowned teacher. He devised and perfected a method through which students learn to play musical instruments in a speedy manner. Some of his students have gone on to become well-known singers, composers and music teachers. He has published a number of valuable works, the most well-known of which is the 470-page THE ROSE GARDEN OF PERSIAN MUSIC with twelve audio cassettes explaining and interpreting Persian musical scales. The book also includes biographies of well known Iranian men and women of music as well as a collection of Iranian folkloric songs.
